Hi, I’m Sechi, and I’m running to be your local Councillor.
Local government is where politics becomes real. It’s where potholes and roads should get fixed- but not in a patchwork manner, where high streets should be enabled to thrive and where families should be supported to feel safe. Under the Conservative-led Harrow Council, North Harrow hasn’t been the priority it should be – I’m running to change this. Over the past months, I’ve listened to residents across the Ward, and I’m determined to work hard to deliver the needs and priorities you’ve told me matter most.
I have the experience to deliver from day one. For over a decade, I’ve worked at the heart of policy making, implementation and public service – as a secondary school maths teacher, a Civil Servant, and a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company. Today, I’m a Director at a startup founded by the team behind gov.uk, where I help governments worldwide – and organisations like the World Bank and Gates Foundation – transform so they can better deliver services for citizens. Alongside having lots of experience in how to get things done, I hold a Master’s in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.
My husband and I recently welcomed our daughter to the world, and we’re proud to call Harrow our home. I want Harrow to be a place where she and everyone can thrive. A place where your voice is heard and your concerns are actually acted upon. Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like to chat about what matters to you in North Harrow.
