Serving as the first Jain Hindu Mayor in the country, I made significant strides in community engagement and inclusivity during my 2016-17 tenure. My focus was on improving public services and supporting vulnerable groups. Over my 14 years in politics, I’ve worked closely with residents, holding regular surgeries to address their concerns. I launched initiatives to honour young people contributing to the community and fostered collaborations among local groups. My dedication to public service continues as I actively strive to make Harrow a better place for all.
