My background:
Living in the UK since 1969 and coming from an ethnic minority background has shaped my deep commitment to inclusive, representative leadership. Throughout my career, I have championed fairness, dignity, and opportunity for all members of our diverse community.
My career:
With 10 years in finance prior to 27 years in education, of which 20 years have been as a senior leader, I bring decades of experience in public service, governance, and cross- sector collaboration.
Community work:
Beyond education, I’ve supported charitable fundraising and participated in neighbourhood watch meetings, ensuring I remain grounded in the day-to-day concerns of residents. I have lived in Harrow for over 40 years and did my first teacher placement in Rayners Lane.
My promise:
As a Labour Councillor, I will bring a strong commitment to social justice and community empowerment.
