Mike Williams (Candidate)

I have lived in Harrow all my life and in West Harrow for over thirty years
where we raised our family. My wife worked for the NHS for over 40 years
I left school at 18 before getting involved in the very early days of the
internet. I started and built a leading consulting business specialising in
data analytics.

My involvement in the local West Harrow community runs deep, including
chairing the Community Forum for many years and leading the fight against
the proposed 12-storey towers on the Vaughan Road carpark site. I am a
member of the West Harrow Police panel.
Outside of my West Harrow commitments, I also chair a local charity that
supports a very wide range of programmes to help people with addiction
problems. I have a lifelong involvement with local community theatre and
currently chair one of the largest Harrow-based companies.
My plan to retire quietly hasn’t quite worked out as I have got more involved
and passionate about fighting for our community. We have been ignored for
too long.

I am proud and excited to have been selected as a Labour candidate
for the council elections next year, and with your suppor,t look forward to
working to make our community’s voice heard
