For too long we have had to put up with a Tory Council who have raised council tax while problems piled up for all of us – from broken pavements, potholes and fly-tipping through to concerns with anti-social behaviour.
It is time for change.
With a Labour Council working with the Labour Mayor of London, the Labour MP for Harrow West, the Labour London Assembly Member for Harrow and the Labour Government, we can improve life across North Harrow.
As a lifelong trade union activist, I have campaigned for working people and supported people dealing with difficult employers. When I was the Head of Policy at the London Chamber of Commerce, I worked with the Metropolitan Police on the need to tackle business crime and with the Greater London Authority to ensure that barriers faced by too many minority ethnic owned small businesss, such as with access to finance and procurement, are tackled. As the former Vice Chair of a substance abuse charity, I worked with people to move beyond addiction and achieve their dreams.
I now work in social housing and am committed to supporting tenants in Harrow’s council housing and to help all residents get the support they need with the cost of living.
As a volunteer, I support several Ukrainian citizens via the British–Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce.
I was the Political Adviser to the Embassy of Japan and was previously the CEO of a regional business group. In 2024, I was awarded the Freedom of the City of London.
Sechi and I value the community spirit across North Harrow. The fantastic work of North Harrow Community Library is just one example of people coming together for the good of the whole community.
With Sechi and I working with and for you, we can meet the needs of North Harrow residents
