I am Devisha Patel I am proud to stand as a councillor candidate for Edgware Ward. Having built my life and career in Harrow as someone from a diverse ethnic background, I’ve worked hard to serve our community with compassion, dedication, and integrity. With experience in Funeral Services, I’ve supported families during their most difficult moments, always putting people at the heart of everything I do. I am also a member of Unite The Union.

The Labour Party is a democratic, membership organisation. Labour has changed Britain for the better, with achievements that have made a lasting difference to people’s lives across our country. I am honoured to have the support of our Cabinet Members, our local Assembly Member, our MP and my hardworking local Labour team. Together, we share a vision for a safer, fairer, and more connected Edgware.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I have volunteered to support vulnerable residents, helping with food deliveries and essential supplies for those in need. I have actively worked with our local neighbourhood team, neighbourhood associations, and the local Police Safer Neighbourhood Team. I have also worked with families facing real hardship. This work has shaped my deep sense of compassion for the well-being of the community.

As a councillor candidate for Edgware ward, I have been committed to strengthening community support, so families have access to the services and resources they need. Understanding the need for local safety, ensuring streets and public spaces feel safe and well-maintained. Being a visible, approachable representative who takes time to speak with residents, understand their concerns and act on them. I am passionate about creating a safer, stronger, and more connected Edgware. A place where every resident feels valued and supported.
