In my nearly two decades as a councillor in Marlborough, I have thoroughly enjoyed representing its residents, community groups, businesses and stakeholders. I am also the Leader of the Harrow Labour Group of Councillors and lead from the front when it comes to holding the Conservative-run Council to account on local issues and poor performance. I am passionate about standing up for our most vulnerable residents and families in Harrow, cleaning up the Borough, supporting businesses and tackling antisocial Behaviour which negatively impacts our community.
I have spent my time as a Councillor and leader of the group standing up for residents against the Conservative-fuelled cost of living crisis. I have proposed motions declaring a cost of living crisis in Harrow, and challenged the current administration on the £1.3m cuts to Council Tax support which will negatively impact over 4000 of our most vulnerable families.
