Since becoming a councillor for Marlborough, I have participated in several community initiatives to clean up our area, improve resident satisfaction with the Council and tackle rising issues of antisocial behaviour. My career has been spent working to improve public services: I was Senior Advisor to the Office of the now UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, advising on preparations for government in the field of digital, data and technology. I believe that the strength, resilience and performance of public services are key to successful, high-functioning societies and residents’ wellbeing.
