CCTV for the Alleyway Between Park Mead and Corbins Lane, South Harrow

We, the undersigned residents, are calling on Harrow Council and the relevant authorities to install CCTV covering the alleyway between Park Mead and Corbins Lane, South Harrow.

Residents have contacted us following a number of recent incidents of antisocial behaviour in and around the alleyway, raising concerns about safety and the impact this is having on people who live nearby and use the route regularly.

The alleyway provides an important pedestrian link for local residents, but concerns about antisocial behaviour can leave people feeling unsafe, particularly during the evening and at night.

We are therefore calling for:

* CCTV to be installed covering the alleyway between Park Mead and Corbins Lane.
* The location to be assessed for appropriate lighting and other safety measures.
* The Council and police to work with residents to monitor incidents and identify further action needed.
* CCTV footage, where installed, to be available to the police to support the investigation of criminal and antisocial behaviour.

Residents should be able to use local footpaths and alleyways without feeling intimidated or unsafe.

We ask Harrow Council to listen to residents’ concerns and take action to improve safety in the alleyway between Park Mead and Corbins Lane.
