Ever since my first election to serve as a councillor in 1986, I have been a dedicated and passionate advocate for residents and community groups, with a focus on transport and public safety. After a hiatus from 2002-2014, I returned to serve as a councillor in Headstone ward, where I have engaged with several groups, such as the Friends of Headstone Manor, who we assisted in achieving green flag status for our historic park. I serve on a number of council committees, including the Traffic and Road Safety Advisory panel, where I scrutinise and hold the current administration to account.
